These days all the big companies like EA and COD are looking for game testers of games that are in production and are close to being released. You can play new games before release and then test them for logical errors, level errors, art errors, and all other bugs. This can get you earning a lot!
Quality Assurance Game Testers are those who work very close with designers and programmers and give a report which consists of all the errors and bugs found in each test. This the one who is responsible for the game to work correctly.
Major companies also hire different people to test out their games that are in production just before the release date. There are so many groups working for a video game like design, programming, quality, art, audio etc. Therefore, companies like to hire many people to work out their product and check it to see if it is working properly.
Many testers also like to work in their own privacy at home or at labs. Companies hire these people and then they are assigned to send different reports to the company regarding the things that need to be updated. These people work at home because they don't want to rise in the industry but they only work because of the money they earn purely through their passion for gaming.
Most big companies have different qualifications that need to be met by their workers. This is not necessary for all companies but the major companies only hire those who meet their qualifications. The general qualifications are

2. Good communication skills
3.Experience with computers and software and the troubleshooting for different game consoles and computers
4. Good knowledge of networking and multiplayer is also often needed.
Again, this does not apply for every company and may vary.
5. Should know how to write good and detailed reports covering every point and bug.
For those extreme gamers this job will be heaven and will be the best job they can ever find but for many, people will start to get bored and would not enjoy their job. This is mainly because companies make you play the same one game over and over again until all the bugs are not fixed. This could get you to think the job is not what it really seems like. But this is highly recommended for those who play games all day.
