Making Money the hard way. No one likes the hard way, but the hard way always gets you money in your hand right after you perform a task, or complete a job. Online money making is not easy either, but the ways below are physical labour. Online money making needs mental labor and a lot of TIME, and not everyone has time. But sorry guys, this post is for KIDS to make money mainly aged 8 - 16 years. If you are not a kid, you can still take these suggestions and recommend them to the kids who really need the money.
When we need money, we think of random ways of getting those dollars in our pocket. People think and think and later forget. There are some common ways for kids to make money but those ways are rather neglected.
Some classical ways are lawn mowing, lemonade stands, garage sales, and helping the old with their chores. If you think about it for a second, these ways can get you earning fast.
Take lawn mowing as an example; we go to peoples houses and mow their lawns with a lawn mower and get paid, lets say $5.00. If we take out a day, and go around the whole neighbourhood mowing lawns, ( takes around 10 minutes for each lawn ) we can earn fast. And we also get the money in our hands right after we are finished unlike many other jobs. Lets say, you have 7-8 houses nearby that you can easily go to and mow lawns. Think about it again, if one lawn takes 10 minutes and you go to 8 houses, thats like 80 minutes. An hour and 20 minutes. And you get quite an earning for that. 5 dollars for 8 houses can get you 40 dollars in just an hour and 20 minutes. Thats great and enough for a kid. If need even more, go to some more houses and take a little time and you can get another $20.00. You can then even make deals with the house owners and make specific days. That gives you like 40 dollars per week. At the end of the month, you are making like $160.00. Thats a whole lot of money for a kid.
Other ways are also very effective. Lemonade stands are good too. You can go to a public park on a hot day. Try to pick a spot where people come and go more often. Start off with a low price, and slowly increase your price. $2.00 for a glass would be good. People will come after long walks, playing in the parks, or after a game and they will really want something cool to drink. They will then buy your products i.e lemonade. Regular people will buy your lemonade every time they pass by. Thats a great source of income. Don't even sit there for a long time. Go near 4 in the afternoon when people usually go to parks. Sit there for a little more than an hour and voila, you will be earning bucks. Slowly, start giving your so called customers some new products and ask for suggestions. After a week or so raise the prices. It would be great for a kid.
Garage sales are also a good source, but they cannot be repeated every week. A kid can sell his old toys, video games, and anything else that he doesn't need anymore at a reasonable price. Put notices on street lights, stop signs , etc. a week before. People will then come by and see what you have. If they like an item, they will certainly buy it if it is on a good rate. If you have a successful garage sale then you can earn a lot of money at one time, but for later, you won't have any other ways to make a garage sale as most of your items would be sold.
These are JUST SOME ways that kids can make money easily in their neighborhood, for a little amount of time. But all these things are physical and not so easy. Don't get angry if you fail once or twice. Keep trying and I guarantee that it will work.
