The thing that you have to do is take pictures and upload them to stock photography sites ( listed below ) and then put them up to be sold. Customers will come to you and ask for your photograph. You then agree on a price and sell it. The average price per photo is $0.10 to $0.80. The best part of stock photography is that you are not selling your images for keeps, but you are allowing the customer to use your photograph with your permission. That way the customer can upload your photo anywhere on the internet without being blamed for copyright. Since you are not selling the image, you can let an infinite amount of customers to use your photo. You still get paid for every customer that you give permission to. So if you sell your image to 50 people at an average price of $0.50, you get $25.
The average price per image may not seem to be much, but if you sell 100s of images a day, you can make a great income out of it. If not a full time job, you will at least have a nice amount of side income.

Selling photography in the form of print images is not as profitable as selling stock photography, but it's worth a try after all. Print Images are images that other companies or individuals buy and then print them for official use. This is again, to avoid copyright. Once you sell them the image, the image will still belong to you but the person who you sold the image to will have the right to use it wherever he/she wants.
Even though most of the revenue will be kept by the printing websites, you will be a commission on every image sold. Selling Print images is very convenient as they care of all the business part. They take care of the dealing and shipping so all you have to do is sit in your seat and watch your pictures be sold. Even a brainless person can sell photography as Print images.
Even though the best way to make money with photography is to become a professional photographer, but not everyone has the ability or time to become one. So then to overcome that disability is to make money with your average digital camera!
